For December a few of the delightful fall favorites are going out of season. We certainly enjoyed making the most of brussel sprouts, cauliflower and pomegranates.  It is fortunate to live in a country where these items will be readily available because they are imported or processed.  Farm to table produce however, will always be unmatched in flavor, nutrients and cost.

As the year comes to a close, it is always good to take some time to reflect on our own health and nutrition goals. It is never too late to set small goals and make changes in how we eat. Everyone can learn to enjoy fruits and vegetables, start slow and small and your taste buds will adapt to their unique deliciousness. Enjoy the beauty of the season.
